The International Virtual Internships Platform offers students and purpose-driven organisations around the world a space to connect and share expertise and interests.

Virtual Internship Platform

This platform was initially developed as part of the SEVERE - a transnational programme for nurturing entrepreneurial mind-sets and skills in order to encourage active citizenship and social entrepreneurship among the youth in Europe. It was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Now we are also using it to engage a wider network of students, through SYSE. This project sought to empower young Sub-Saharan Africans to ideate and execute income-generating social entrepreneurial projects for Purpose Driven Organisations such NGOs and social enterprises. It was part of the British Council’s Innovation for African Universities programme.
